The Motorola company got it's foothold back in the mobile market by it's most successful mid range phone The Moto G and it is not going to leave it soon. after the moto g third generation which itself was a great success the company launched it's successor phone which is even better. here in this article we are going to look over the new phone which is priced @14499 INR in India (duh? the price is in Indian currency). It's the new MOTO G TURBO EDITION.
What's new
The new phone has octa core 64bit qualcomm 1.5 GHz 615 soc unlike the 3rd generation which had 1.4 quad core 410 soc. The new phone has the Adreno 406 GPU and with the same screen and resolution as the 3rd generation. The company claims it can give you 6hrs of usage on charging just 15mins which means it has got a quick charge which it's predecessor did not have so the phone is for those who use their phone heavily and want a longer battery life. for those who do not use their phone heavily or use them normally do not need this phone as the 3rd generation is efficient for them and is currently available at a lower price.
Looks
The phone is in no way different than the 3rd generation and one cannot tell the difference if they are kept side by side. The speaker are on front the 3.5mm jack at the top while the micro usb charger at the bottom. the phone is sleek at the top, bulges out in between and then sleek at the bottom .

Display
The moto g turbo display is not the sharpest you will find but is totally not bad . the 5.2inch screen is backed by the 1280X720 display which is smooth and uncluttered.
Performance
The turbo edition is a phone that can be heavily used without any lag in performance. This where one can say that user experience > the spec sheet .It has a 2GB ram which is very efficient. I tested the turbo edition with a 2GHz octacore mediatek 6592 device which also had 2gb ram in speed test. The turbo edition won very easily and one can say the multitasking works smoothly.
Android 6 update to the turbo edition is promised by the company and you can totally rely on Motorola.
The camera
Camera on the phone is 13MP primary and 5MP secondary which works very well on both daylight and night time conditions. The phone can record full HD videos and also HD slo-mo video whic is very great to whatch.
The upper hand
Moto g turbo edition has got tricks up it's sleeves with the IP67 certification for water resistance upto 1.5 m and 30 mins. These things surely you will not find in any phone near this price range.
Conclusion
The phone is very good and the price is also good for the phone. Surely motorola rules this price range and also gives regular software updates to the phones and has a very good after sale services and you can sure should buy this phone as the user reviews for the phon is also very impressive.
