The new phone in the market by the YU teventutes is the YU YUTOPIA. YU as you (confusing?! ) know is a micromax subsidiary and like micromax offers good spec sheet but it is user experience that matters. The price put for the phone is 26,999 INR but is it worth it, Lets take a look..
The looks.
The phone is made off aluminium body of aircraft class but it doesn't make us feel happy having it in our hand. It is about 160g in weight and dimensions are 146.6x72.7x7.2mm the phone cannot be called slim comparing to the phones coming out these days but feels sturdy in hand. The camera is a bit bulging out from the back and is pretty big like in lumia 1920.
It has a finger print sensor on the back like in the nexus 5x and nexus 6p.
The phone has the 3.5mm jack bottom of the phone and the micro usb at the top the speaker grills also at the bottom.
The screen is 5.2 inches with a sharp 570dpi with a QHD resolution.
THE CAMERA
The phone got a 21MP camera and is descent in both daylight and night time. It has got a Sony sensor and can record 4k videos which according to users is quite impressive. The Camera also is having a flash which can click good pics in low light (anything new?).
Performance
The phone comes with a cyanogen OS 12.1 and may be updated to newer version given that it packs a Qualcomm 605 chipset which works very well. The phone offers no lag while playing high end games (as said by the users) and the battery lasts a full day use on moderate usage given that it has a 3000mAh battery.
Conclusion for now.
I have not used the phone myself and the review is totally based on the user submitted review (not submitted to me ofcourse). The review looks incomplete but yet the phone looks quite good. The one thing I am most concerned about is the after sale service offered by the company which has a very bad record.
